Our Story
On March 17,2013, I was involved in a devastating car accident that involved both my grandma and little brother Clancey. The accident partially ejected me out of the car which rolled over me and shattered my left femur. My grandma and my brother didn’t survive the crash, and I wasn’t expected to live either.
I would not be where I am today without the mind blowing support that followed. Friends and family helped pay for my brother’s funeral and my mounting hospital bills. On the support side, I most likely had a lack of sleep because so many people came to visit and let me know they cared. They just kept coming--cleaning our house, bringing us meals, and doing everything they could to build me and my family back up. I had shattered my femur and had many other injuries, but within three months, I was back in Logan and back to work and within 5 months got married.
My brother at the time was barely 20 years old. He and I were extremely close all of our lives and I was only 21 at the time. Clancey was my best friend, he had the mindset of I will do whatever it takes to achieve the goals I have set for myself. Both him and my grandma were very genuine in everything they did and loved helping people no matter their situation.
Because of both Clancey and my grandma and what they stood for along with all of the community support. I created a nonprofit called Tiny’s Tribe as my way of remembering and honoring them and my way of helping others the way I and my family were helped.
At Tiny's Tribe, our objective is to help 10–20 families each year navigate life's most difficult challenges by providing practical support, meaningful resources, and a strong sense of community.
We support families in four core areas:
● Financial Support – Medical bills, funeral expenses, housing costs, and other unexpected burdens.
● Home Repairs & Improvements – Projects and repairs that improve safety, comfort, and quality of life.
● Food Assistance – Meals, groceries, and other essential resources.
● Mindset & Personal Growth – Encouragement, mentorship, and support to help families move forward with hope.
Through our network of volunteers and strategic partners, we may also provide services such as grocery delivery, laundry services, car detailing, window cleaning, home maintenance, and other forms of practical support.
Because every family's needs are different, our assistance may range from providing meals and everyday services to organizing volunteers, completing home projects, or raising significant financial support. No matter the situation, our goal is the same: to lighten burdens, restore hope, and help families move forward with strength, resilience, and an optimistic outlook on life.

Why “Tiny’s Tribe”?
TINY: Tiny is Clancey’s nickname
TRIBE: If you think of an Indian Tribe, they were a very tight knit community and they helped those within their tribe. Here in our local communities we are a tribe and thus it is our responsibility to help others within our “Tribe/Community.”

-PHOENIX: The Phoenix represents a new beginning, a renewal or rebirth. The Phoenix is a mythical bird that is known to rise from its ashes. In the car accident, there was a fire. If we wouldn’t have gotten out when we did we very well could have been burned to death. This car accident was my “Rebirth” or “New Beginning”, a second chance for me to become the person I knew I needed to be.
-COLOR: The color purple means royalty, spirituality, youth & creativity. It is also Clancey’s birthstone color. It is a very strong and elegant color that we felt complimented the overall design.
HEAD: In our design, the head is looking straight up. This represents moving forward with confidence.
